Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IFST-CAAS) is a national agricultural research institution. We mainly focus on four major research fields, including processing and storage, quality and safety, nutrition and health, and intelligent manufacturing. Surrounding the main missions, now there are altogether 15 innovation teams with different research focuses, such as corn processing, plant protein, meat science, fruit and vegetable processing, green processing of bio-based material, Chinese food processing and equipment, food nutrition and functional food, food bio-manufacturing, loss reduction and mycotoxins control, phytochemical components, quality and safety, preservation and logistics, dairy products processing, potato processing, and rural industry revitalization.
